MarketStar Student Resource Center

The MarketStar Student Resource Center (MSRC) is the result of a collaborative effort between the MarketStar Foundation, Ogden School Foundation, Ogden School District, Catholic Community Services, and United Way of Northern Utah to help provide immediate short-term support of school supplies, food, clothing, and household and hygiene items for all Ogden School District students and their families in need. Utilizing an online ordering system, school counselors and staff can notify the center of any urgent need in their school. The requested items are then delivered directly to the school to ensure the student or family receives them. There are no requirements to qualify for support from the MSRC; any student with an identified or perceived need may receive assistance.

The MSRC is located in the Child Nutrition Building Program building on the district campus. Double the square footage of its previous location, this new space features a loading dock, a large walk-in refrigerator, on-site staff offices, and upgraded storage facilities to allow for better coordination and distribution of supplies to all of our schools. With one centralized location, the MSRC staff is able to keep an inventory of the items in greatest demand to help our stakeholders better understand the needs of our community and respond effectively. The MSRC serves as a crucial support system for many families in the Ogden School District.
